Part 1 of our Pampanga food trip!
Mila’s Tokwa at Baboy was recommended to us by a local. Reading the reviews, the most popular items on the menu are the sisig & tokwa’t baboy. We also ordered Chicharon Bulaklak cos it’s my favorite! 🙂
Sisig (Php 200) – love this! We initially asked for some calamansi and toyo cos we’re accustomed to have these kapag sisig ang ino-order. Deadma si Kuya. Haha. Pero tama naman siya. You don’t need to add anything to this wonderful crispy sisig. Delicious! Rating: 4/5
Tokwa at Baboy (Php 200)- love this too! The tokwa (tofu) is fried crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. Perfect ang pagluto! Paired with tenga ng baboy (pig ears) dipped in soy sauce, haaaay… ang sarap! 🙂 Rating: 4/5
Chicharon Bulaklak (Php 200) – favorite! hahaha! As per my friends, my face lit up upon 1st bite of the crispy treat. Sarap, grabeeee! Can be eaten on its own but you can dip it in vinegar. Yum. Writing this post makes me miss the taste. Hehe. Rating: 5/5
Recommendation: Highly recommended! 🙂 If ever you are in Angeles, Pampanga, be sure to drop by this karinderya. You’ll get your money’s worth!
